The Sinag Arts Studio
A 400sqm creative studio space located near the Mandaluyong City Hall, The Sinag Art Space serves as a venue for rehearsals, theater workshops, performances and studio shoots.
Sinag Serires 2006-2007 in cooperation with Music Theater Foundation, Philippines presents “On Wings of Song” featuring MARVIN GAYRAMON with guest artists ANA FELEO and LENA MCKENZIE, September 9, 2006 at 8PM, at the Sinag Arts Studio.
Marvin Gayramon, a young classically trained singer, won 1st place in the National Music Competition for young artist (NAMCYA) collegiate level, solo voice category.
Though still studying at the University of the Philippines College of Music as a Fides Cuyugan Asensio scholar; he was already accepted at the prestigious Pacific Music Festival in the Barougue Vocal Program, in Sapporo, Japan as an Academy member. Coached by internationally recognized style and vocal teachers, Marvin was also the Philippine representative at the 9th Rosa Ponselle competition for Vocal Arts in New York City and a semi-finalist at the Jeunesse Montreal International Competition for Voice (Canada).
Marvin's greatest talent as a performance singer is his versatility, which earned him a luminary role in the newly opened Disneyland Hongkong, playing the major role in the character of Quasimodo in the “Hunchback of Notredame; bit roles in Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, Tarzan and many others. He happens to be, also a favorite Disney Hongkong voice coach.
While in the country, he has sung in classic concerts in various venues in the Philippines and at the major cities in USA.
Aside from being a singer, Marvin is a Studio Director of Aesthetic Voice Studio in Butuan too.
This is his hello and farewell concert for he is leaving to do a USA Tour project. It is an evening of neo-ethnic, classical, broadway, pop and opera.
Sinag Series 2006-2007 is for the benefit of MTFP and Sinag Arts scholarship program for the musically inclined students and theater production.
